Most Important Piece of Equipment on Your Boat

Cody, Nathan, and I went out on the Chesapeake Bay this past Wednesday. I was to guide them and set-up the fishfinder/chartplotter. On the way out, Cody pointed to his fishfinder and told me he had never seen fish on it before. I made a few adjustments so that has since changed.

It didn't take long for the screen to light up with stripers.
The picture to the left shows how each screen relates to the other.
When it comes to locating fish, the fishfinder/chartplotter is the most important piece of equipment on your boat.

This was the first time Cody and Nathan used light tackle to catch stripers. They learned fast and started catching fish the first time we stopped.
