Outstanding Spring C&R Season

Unfortunately the Susquehanna Flats were muddy and cold throughout the entire spring time catch and release season.

Fortunately I did have a Plan B, thanks to a fly and light tackle guide, one of the best in the State of Maryland, by the name of Brady Bounds.  We had discussed trying other waters during the spring season.  Thanks again Brady for your support and making this fishing report available.

We all enjoy getting large striped bass 'blow up' on topwater plugs.  Even more exciting is when one takes the plug under water where you can set the hook and possible enjoy the fight of a lifetime.

This happened to Dave Dennis when he was casting a Stillwater Smack-It on the 1st blow-up.

The Lure

The Fish (40" x 26" Girth)

Greg Geoffroy had a total of 18 blow-ups and here is one of the stripers that he landed.

I hope everyone is looking forward to the remanded of the season.
