The Stripers Have Arrived on the Susquehanna Flats
This 33 1/2" striper was caught in 6 feet for water that was 46.7 degrees in temperature. Bill Johnson, Bill Tucker, and I fished the Susquehanna Flats for a few hours yesterday. We used light spinning tackle casting suspended stickbaits, soft plastic baits, and #17 Tony gold spoons.
The water will be warming up this weekend and that should bring plenty of stripers up on the flats.
